We encourage you to take a moment this Memorial Day to pause and remember with gratitude the individuals who lost their lives in service to our country, and the families who have lost loved ones.
As Howard Osterkamp,
a Korean war veteran
and purple heart recipient,
stated when reflecting on his service,
“All gave some; some gave all.”
Whether or not you agree with the policies of the United States military, there is no denying the number of people who have shown up to defend our country and in that process lost their lives. For their sacrifice, we say thank you.
