In our work as Executive Coaches over the last 15 years, we have become keenly aware of the challenges facing individuals and the organizations in which they work. The common theme that has arisen from our work with executives and managers from divergent organizations is a sense of being worn out and worn down ~ a far cry from the inspired leader they once envisioned themselves becoming.
Clients enlist our services because they are worn down by their inability to effectively influence . . . their boards, their boss, their teams, their colleagues, their subordinates, their workplace. The complex relationship that currently exists between employers and employees, managers and staff, boards and executive managers are challenging enough in times of economic prosperity, but add economic uncertainty and each of these relationships becomes more tenuous and much more important.
